Roland Garros collects a vast amount of data for every game that happens in the tournament and its all stored on the Match Centre found on the Roland Garros Website. The previous experience offered very little for the common fan and its overly complex interface confused even the biggest tennis pro.

Working closely with the Roland Garros team and conducting interviews with coaches and players I was able to transform the previous experience into something users actually wanted, whilst retaining the details that coaches and players need when analysing the data. As well as developing the match centre, I developed ways for fans to further interact with the tournament while visiting the games and ways to promote the Roland Garros values such as sustainability.

Final notes

Within the Roland Garros app we found ways for people to keep their tickets, store credit to spend around the tournament and to purchase sustainable and personalised merchandise.
